2012 plastic bottles and black wood

the plastic bottles didnt work out as well as i wanted but i got some nice coloured photos. the plastic was too light to hold the wood and when i took it outside to photograph it fell apart.

march 2012 pinhole project

the most exciting project ever. the rowing club and the clarion.taking a photo without a camera. using the room as a camera. no problem with either place. got a room on the 7th floor for a few hours! blocked out window and got an image of city on 15 A4s. magic.

2012 coloured sticks experiment

took colours from landscape and tried to arrange in format to display depth and distance. didnt work.

feb 2012 smashed coloured cans

i like the strong shape of the crushed can. i joined them together with wire and took them to different locations to see their impact. including  sketch of ideas for cans.

i like lee krasner and mary swanzys strong colour. lee used pollocks throwouts for one painting.
i like the contrast of her early self portrait and then her later geometric work. i loved the book on the german expressionists- franz marc. i like the irreverant use of photography that anselm kiefer used in his work. it is mixed with his paint.....

nov 2011 white sticks

this is my sketch on how i thought the sticks would look but it was too top-heavy.
i used old trellis fencing and painted it white then cut it.
multiplicity in nature was my influence.
